England: 4 Street Preachers Arrested for Anti-Muslim Comments

Four street preachers were arrested in Bristol’s main city center shopping area where they were preaching anti-Muslim sentiments.

According to ChristianToday.com, the four men were preaching that “Allah does not exist” and “All Muslims will burn in hell.”

The preachers also condemned gays, as well as those who were divorced or living other kinds of lifestyles they called sinful.

In video footage, one of the preachers is heard saying, "The purpose is to worship God. I have some sympathy for you sinners, but the purpose of mankind is to worship God. You need to obey God and obey his commands. I hated his commands once and I remember what that mind frame is – it is like banging your head against a brick wall."

Police approached the preachers and told them they had become a public disturbance.

The gathered crowd then began chanting “go home, go home, go home.” When the preachers refuse to leave, the police officers force them to go.

Although it is not known what church or group the preachers are affiliated with, Cross Encounters Ministries, seemingly supportive of the men, stated, "We have received word that Mike Overd, Mike Stockwell, Don Karns, and Adrian Clark have been arrested while open-air preaching in Bristol."
