Chip and Joanna Gaines, the beloved couple from the popular HGTV series Fixer Upper, have made an exciting announcement.
People.com reports that the couple announced that Joanna is pregnant with their fifth child.
“Gaines party of 7.. (If you’re still confused.. WE ARE PREGNANT) @joannagaines,” Chip posted on Instagram, along with a picture of the couple both showcasing their growing bellies (Chip’s of course, being fake).
Chip and Joanna have four children already: Drake, 12, Ella, 11, Duke, 9, and Emmie Kay, 7.
Following the couple's announcement, HGTV tweeted their congratulations: “Congrats @joannagaines & @chipgaines! We can’t wait to meet #BabyGaines. #FixerUpper #GrowingUpGaines."
The couple has also been in the news recently with the announcement that season 5 of Fixer Upper will be the last season.
"This is just us recognizing that we need to catch our breath for a moment," Chip and Joanna wrote in a blog. "Our plan is to take this time to shore up and strengthen the spots that are weak, rest the places that are tired and give lots of love and attention to both our family and our business,” the couple wrote in that announcement.
With this recent pregnancy announcement, it does indeed seem like a good time for the couple to focus even more on their family.
