Boko Haram Adopts ISIS' Religious Cleansing Strategy

Human rights advocates are concerned that terrorist group Boko Haram has adopted the religious cleansing tactics of ISIS.

Fox News reports Boko Haram has targeted Christians and other religious minorities in several attacks across Nigeria, Chad, Cameroon and Niger.

Open Doors USA president David Curry said, “That is the strategy of Boko Haram. These attacks are escalating.”

Boko Haram has already expressed its allegiance to ISIS in an online video. Like ISIS, the group has already killed thousands of people that disagree with ideology.

Nina Shea, director of the Center for Religious Freedom at the Hudson Institute said, “Boko Haram is probably the most lethal Islamic extremist group in the world. They want a pure Islamic State.”
