In its second week of release, Jesus Revolution dropped only to No. 2 on both charts. Media Play News first reported the data.

The faith-based hit Jesus Revolution passed $40 million at the box office Monday thanks to another solid showing and is now the highest-grossing movie since 2019 for its studio, Lionsgate.

Faith-based filmmakers Alex and Stephen Kendrick, fresh off the release of their eighth movie, say they plan on making films as long as God leads them and already have plans for a new title that will be produced in 2023.
