Want to hear a funny one? Except it isn’t funny. The New York Times and other media report President Obama has sent CIA agents into Libya to find out the identity of the rebels. This is the equivalent of Nancy Pelosi urging passage of the health care bill so we can learn what’s in it.
There’s no secret about the identity of the Libyan rebels, or any of the other Middle East countries now in turmoil. They are terrorists with names like al Qaeda and Hezbollah. They say so. They want to turn these countries into Islamic fundamentalist states.
This president is making America weak – militarily, economically and morally. Our secular leadership doesn’t understand religious fanatics because their idea of religion is as skewed as their view of the Islamic terrorists; different results, to be sure, but just as wrong.
