The Underwear Bomber Might Be Right

October 7, 2010

As confessed Times Square attempted bomber Faisal Shahzad was led away Tuesday after being sentenced to life in prison, he remained defiant and said this to the court: "Brace yourselves, because the war with Muslims has just begun. The defeat of the U.S. is imminent and will happen in the near future."

His threat may become prophetic if we continue to pretend Islam is a peaceful religion and only a few fanatics are responsible for the violence and threats of violence.

As Shahzad was being transported to prison, arrests were being made in several French cities as the terrorism threat continues to confront Europe. Our state department has issued a travelers advisory for Americans traveling in Europe, which has been infiltrated by more Islamists than are currently in the U.S.

They are serious and we are in denial in too many instances. They are willing to die in order to destroy America. Call me what you like, but this is a real threat to our way of life and the sooner we realize it, the safer we will be.
