The Cuccinelli Effect

August 25, 2010

Virginia Attorney General Ken Cuccinelli has ruled the state has the legal right to regulate abortion clinics in the same manner it currently regulates hospitals and surgery centers. Pro-abortion advocates say the ruling could cost abortion clinics $2 million and put most of them out of business. Good! 50 million dead babies are enough. One is enough.

Pro-lifers have been waiting for someone with Cuccinelli's convictions. Too often we get the rhetoric but when they are elected to office, other things take precedent, like the economy.

It is refreshing to see the attorney general of Virginia again step forward as he bravely did on illegal immigration and most especially to oppose Obamacare. You may recall that Virginia was the first state to challenge the constitutionality of Obamacare in federal courts.

Gee, a Republican with convictions and the courage to practice them. Ken Cuccinelli deserves our support.
