Terrorists in New Jersey

May 9, 2007

The pattern is becoming all-too familiar. In this case, six people have been arrested and charged with plotting to attack and kill American soldiers at the Ft. Dix, New Jersey army installation. Four of them are from the former Yugoslavia; one was born in Turkey; one in Jordan. And guess what? All are Muslims. Are you surprised?

There are reports that members of the group also intended to shoot-up shopping malls to further destabilize the country.

I want to know how they got here and whether they were legally in the United States. Fortunately, a cooperating witness told authorities about the planned attacks and the FBI was on their case. But how many other home grown or foreign groups are in America? We can’t stop them all. Sooner or later one or more of them is bound to succeed. And what if it is not just firearms, but chemical, biological or nuclear devices? What if they kill hundreds of thousands of us? What will the government do then?

They are building mosques and establishing schools among us and all the politicians can do is talk about a “peaceful religion.”
