"Sloppy Bookkeeping?" Not a Problem for Dems

October 18, 2006

I am generally not a conspiratist, but you’d have to be blind, deaf and living on another planet not to notice the coordination between the democratic party and their media allies to drive down the conservative and especially Christian vote in next month’s election.

What else to make of all of these scandals that almost daily make their way into the press? Am I talking about Senate Minority Leader Harry Reid and his suspicious land deal? Of course not. That was just “sloppy bookkeeping,” according to the Washington Post which has absolved him before a proper investigation. It is only republicans this political season who are guilty of ethical and moral lapses. The Mark Foley business gets plenty of media attention and traction, but not immoral behavior by democrats.

The Left has no ideas. They hope to discourage enough conservatives to stay home so they can win and give us the likes of Nancy Pelosi as House Speaker and Harry Reid as Senate Majority Leader. Politics isn’t perfect, but its imperfections will be multiplied if the left wins this election by discouraging you from voting for conservatives. Better to reform the republicans than to live with the lefties.
