Neverending Terrorist Plotting

September 6, 2007

I hate to keep harping on the subject of terrorism, but our enemies do. Three suspected Islamic terrorists have been arrested in germany for allegedly plotting “imminent” and “massive” attacks on the Ramstein Military Air Base. The plot is also said to have included the busy civilian Frankfurt International Airport.

German authorities say the three had trained at terror camps in Pakistan and procured 1,500 pounds of hydrogen peroxide for making explosives. A top German legislator said the group could have struck “in a few days,” noting a “sensitive period” that includes the anniversary of the 9-11 attacks.

Meanwhile, Danish authorities have arrested eight alleged Islamic terrorists with links to al Qaeda figures. They say the suspects were plotting an attack involving explosives.

Once again we have evidence the conflict us far from over, no matter what happens in Iraq. This is worldwide, it’s religious and we had better do more – including controlling our borders and the proliferation of Islam in America if we intend to win it.
