Iran Joins the Club

April 14, 2006

What are we going to do about Iran? That country, led by a religious fanatic who wants to usher in Armageddon, has announced his country has joined the club of nuclear countries. In a speech, President Mahmoud Ah-Madine-Jad basically said god had given them the weapon. The White House says Iran is moving in the wrong direction and the UN wants to use diplomacy again. We all know how successful they are at diplomacy, especially when the fantastical Islamic world thinks everyone is an infidel who deserves to die if they don’t agree with them.

This is serious stuff. At least Saddam Hussein when he was toppled didn’t yet have nuclear weapons. Iran does and its crazed leadership remains in power.

What are we going to do? What will the world do? Can we and the world afford to let this mad man remain a threat to middle east and world stability? This guy Ah-Madine-Jad wants to usher in a 12th century, or maybe it’s an 11th century, Islamic messiah who is hiding in a well somewhere. No amount of diplomacy is going to convert him to a peaceful existence.

This is why we have a president. Pray he will make the right decision.
