Ding Dong, Bin Laden’s Dead!

May 4, 2011

Ding dong, the witch is dead! Osama bin Laden has received punishment for his crime of inspiring and leading mass murder against the United States and 3,000 of our people. He is now experiencing the reality of eternal punishment – without those 72 virgins.

Evil has not been destroyed. Already his acolytes are threatening revenge and they have enough people to make it happen.

This war will not be settled with a peace treaty. We must find and kill as many of their leaders as possible so fewer will want to join their ranks. We can’t let more of them into our countries, hoping their exposure to what they regard as an unholy way of life will make them like us. If we continue to do that, we are asking for more trouble.

The New York Times couldn’t bring itself to even mention George W. Bush. His policies clearly pried information from detainees at Guantanamo that resulted in bin Laden’s demise. That’s typical of the times. But President Obama in effect acknowledged the value of those policies by his continuation of them once he took office. That is the grandest vindication of all.
