Amnesty Ensures a Progressive Electorate

February 8, 2010

I have longed believe the reason liberal Democrats, or "progressives," want an amnesty measure is because they want to import votes. They have had trouble winning elections because many native-born Americans and legal immigrants vote conservative.

That strategy was confirmed in remarks by Elisio Medina, the international executive vice president of the Service Employees International Union, or SEIU. If you watch Glenn Beck on Fox -- and you should -- you know that SEIU people have visited the Obama White House more than any other group.

Medina recently said, "We reform the immigration laws, it puts 12 million people on the path to citizenship and eventually voters." Medina said granting citizenship to the illegals would expand the "progressive" electorate and help ensure a progressive governing coalition for the long term.

They're not hiding their intentions. Along with the president, SEIU wants to change the character of America. The November election can't come soon enough. If we don't stop them in November, they won't be stopped.
