Do you have a sense that our freedoms are slowly being eroded by our government which is supposed to be upholding them? Politicians, who play to our emotions and fears and not our better angels, are like actors giving life to a playwright’s work.
The masses cheer as the successful are attacked and brought low.
President Obama is wildly applauded on “The Tonight Show.” Jay Leno says it is one of proudest moments of his life. Obama is slick and talks basketball and bowling as he plots to nationalize medicine, make abortions more available and control more of our businesses and individual lives.
What is wrong with us? Don’t we see what’s coming and, in fact, is already here? Freedom is not humanity’s natural state. If it were, everyone would be free and we wouldn’t have to fight to maintain it against forces that wish to dictate to us what and where we can drive, eat, wear, live and how much of the money we earn government will allow us to keep. Think about this and tell others to think as well.
