Tim Tebow Works Out with Eagles but Team is Not Planning to Sign Him

Tim Tebow, the former NFL quarterback and outspoken Christian, reportedly worked out with the Philadelphia Eagles this week. Unfortunately for the athlete and thousands of fans, the team has no intent to sign him for the upcoming season. 

ESPN’s Adam Schefter wrote on Twitter, “Tim Tebow has come and gone from Philadelphia. Team is not planning to sign him at this time. We'll see if anything changes.”

The BLAZE reports Tebow has not played in the NFL since 2012 during his time with the New York Jets. After that, he was traded to the New England Patriots,where he was cut during training camp. 

Tebow’s most successful years were with the Denver Broncos where he started 14 games and won one playoff game. The Broncos ultimated traded Tebow for Peyton Manning. 

The popular Christian player now works as a sports analyst for the SEC Network and ESPN. He is also appears as a contributor on Good Morning America. 

Tebow has expressed his desire to play in the NFL and previously said he was relying on God for the future. 

He expressed, “I don’t know what my future holds, but I know who holds my future,” he said in July 2014. “And that it gives you peace to just continue to work and go after what your heart desires and when you do that you don’t have any regrets and I think that’s the best way to live life.”
