Tim Tebow Surprises Young Cancer-fighting Football Fan in Hospital

Tim Tebow recently surprised a young man who is a football fan and is battling cancer.

Although Tebow was cut from the Philadelphia Eagles and is not on the field this season, the football star continues to live out his faith in other arenas.

Christian Today reports that, after hearing about the boy’s fight with cancer, Tebow decided to surprise him with a visit.

Nathaniel, who is battling cancer at Wolfson Children’s Hospital in Jacksonville, Florida, is a huge Florida Gators fan. When Tebow visited him, he was wrapped in a Gators blanket resting on a Gators pillow with a stuffed Gator beside him.

“What’s up, Nathaniel?” Tebow said as he came into the room.

Nathaniel was so overwhelmed by Tebow’s surprise visit that he broke into tears.

“I love your bed! This is fantastic!” Tebow said, referring to Nathaniel’s Gator paraphernalia.

After recovering from his his surprise, Nathaniel told Tebow, “Thank you for visiting me.”

The Tim Tebow Foundation shared a picture of Tebow visiting Nathaniel on their Facebook page, commenting, “Nathaniel, you are an inspiration! So AWESOME to watch Tim Tebow surprise our new friend Nathaniel at Wolfson Children’s Hospital! What an incredible young man!”
