Oklahoma Muslim Convert Being Investigated for Connection to ISIS after Beheading Woman

An Oklahoma man is awaiting charges after beheading a woman and stabbing another at Vaughan Foods, a distribution center in Moore. Alton Nolen, 30, attacked the women at the plant after being fired from the workplace.

Nolen’s victims were the first two people he encountered; Colleen Hufford was beheaded and Traci Johnson was stabbed multiple times. Johnson survived the attack and is recovering in the hospital.

The brutal attack ended when company COO Mark Vaughan shot Nolen. Nolen is also being treated in a hospital.

Workers at the plant had recently complained that Nolen was attempting to convert them to Islam. The FBI is now investigating the case, to determine is Nolen has connections to ISIS or if he acted on his own. Investigators suspect Nolen is a recent convert to Islam.

Nolen’s charges are expected to be released today (Sept. 29).
