Nigeria: Boko Haram Beheads Seven People in Revenge Attacks

Boko Haram terrorists killed seven people on Monday (Oct. 6) in Ngamdu, Nigeria. The victims were beheaded in revenge attacks after locals formed vigilante groups to fight the terrorists.

Two weeks ago, civilians battled Boko Haram militants, causing the death of 15 terrorists. The group vowed it would have its revenge against the civilian fighters.

Last week, Boko Haram leader Abubakar Shekau appeared in a video, saying that he was alive, contrary to recent claims of Nigerian forces.

"Nothing will kill me until my days are over,” Shekau said in the video. “I'm still alive. Some people asked you if Shekau has two souls. No, I have one soul, by Allah.”

"We are running our caliphate, our Islamic caliphate. We follow the Quran...We now practice the injunctions of the Quran in the land of Allah.”

Boko Haram have killed 10,000 people since they started gaining influence in 2009.
