Married Couple Says Pope Francis’ Blessing Made it Possible for Them to Have Children

A couple from Rhode Island are attributing the miracle birth of their triplets to a blessing they received from Pope Francis.

Liz and Ryan Tremblay received a marriage blessing from Pope Francis while they were in Rome last year, according to The Blaze.

The couple recalls meeting the Pope and receiving his blessing as “the most incredible moment.”

“I just felt so full of joy when we were in his presence,” Liz Tremblay stated.

The couple was told by doctors that they had only a one or two percent chance of ever conceiving a child, but miraculously, they were blessed with triplets. The couple believes their miraculous conception is due to the blessing Pope Francis bestowed on their marriage.

Ryan Tremblay recalls that he and Liz recognized that the Pope’s marriage blessing was special and were expecting “something almost magical to happen,” although they were still surprised when they discovered they were going to have triplets.

Liz Tremblay gave birth to three sons on August 20 whom she and Ryan named Andrew, Elliot, and Nicholas. They gave Elliot the middle name of “Francis” in honor of the Pope.

The Tremblays are eagerly anticipating Pope Francis’s visit to the United States next week and say that they know he will touch many lives while he is here.

“Your life has changed once you’ve met him,” Liz Tremblay said.
