Justin Bieber Donates Items to Christian Charity Auction after Apologizing for Past Behavior

Canadian-born pop singer Justin Bieber claims that he is finished with his bad-boy persona and wants to change. Bieber recently appeared on The Ellen DeGeneres Show, and later posted a video where he apologized to his fans.

In the video, Bieber said, "I wanted to make a video because I wanted to express how I feel right now. Today, I was on 'Ellen' and it was a lot of fun. She's amazing. But I was really nervous, and I think I was nervous because I was afraid of what people are thinking about me right now. It's been a minute since I've been in a public appearance and I didn't want to come off arrogant or conceited — basically how I've been acting the past year or a year and a half."

The singer apologized for his past behavior and said, "I am not who I was pretending to be...I'm not that kid. I'm a person that genuinely cares. And although what's happened in the past has happened, I just want to make the best impression on people and be kind and loving and gentle and soft."

Since posting the video, Bieber has donated several signed items to a Christian charity to auction off. The singer gave House of Blessing, a food bank based in Ontario, his size 7 Nikes, and Toronto Maple Leafs comforter, pillowcase and ceiling lamp; The donated items’ starting bid is at $500.

Bieber professed his Christianity last year when he was baptised in a bathtub. Christian Today reports that the singer used the unusual location for his baptism when he could not find a church to baptise him privately.
