Christian Rapper KB: God Met Me through Hip-Hop

Christian rapper KB said in a recent interview that he realized Christian faith and rap music can go together when “God met him through hip-hop.”

KB started out in his career with a goal of making money, but soon found that he had a higher purpose than fame. Now the rapper hopes to change people’s lives through his music, Christian Today reports.

KB is signed with Reach Records along with Lecrae and Andy Mineo. He says the label promotes God instead of fame and money.

"We believe that all creativity, all innovation—it's God who supplies creativity, because he's the Creator. Reach Records is for the people. It isn't for the money, it isn't for the fame," KB said in a radio interview.

"At the end of the day what matters are lives being changed. That's the prime product. That's what keeps me up at night.”
