British Female Islamic State Member Calls for Beheading of Christians

A British female Islamic State (IS) member has taken to Twitter to call for the beheading of Christians. Sally Jones, a Muslim convert, immigrated to Syria last year and has now reportedly joined IS.

Jones calls herself Umm Hussain al-Britani on Twitter. She recently wrote on the social media site, “You Christians all need beheading with a nice blunt knife and stuck on the railings at Raqqa...Come here I’ll do it for you!” The post has since been removed.

Other threatening posts were scattered throughout Jones’ Twitter account, though few now remain after the Sunday Times contacted her on the siting, claiming that they knew the name of her youngest son.

Still, Jones’ Twitter bio quotes Osama bin Laden, reading, “If our messages could reach you by words, then they wouldn’t have travelled by planes.”

A post on Monday (Sept. 1) says, “Shutting our Twitters later...We fed you all enough.”

Jones was exposed to jihadi culture when she met a British Muslim extremist Junaid Hussain online. Hussain is suspected to be one of two British men that killed American photojournalist James Foley. It appears Jones and Hussain are now married.
