5th Planned Parenthood Video Appears to Show Official Selling 'Intact' Aborted Babies

Pro-life advocacy group the Center for Medical Progress (CMP) has released a fifth video that purports to show a Planned Parenthood executive involved with the illegal sale of aborted fetal organs.

Fox News reports the latest video shows Melissa Farrell, director of research for Planned Parenthood Gulf Coast, appearing to explain that company doctors manipulate abortion procedures to harvest requested organs or intact fetuses. Farrell also says that she manipulates prices of tissue depending on the requests of buyers.

“Yeah, and so if we alter our process, and we are able to obtain intact fetal cadavers, then we can make it part of the budget, that any dissections are this, and splitting the specimens into different shipments is this. I mean it’s all just a matter of line items,” Farrell says in the video.

Though altering abortion procedures to harvest tissue is illegal, Farrell tells undercover investigators from CMP, that it can be done.

“And you know, when it matters, you know in the cases of when it’s mattered, you know, physicians also need an intact specimen, they can make it happen,” Farrell says. “So they do it in a way that they get the best specimens. So I know it can happen.”

Planned Parenthood insists that it only donates tissue to research, and accepts compensation for travel expenses, which is legal.
